Peabody Schools Launch Kindergarten Registration, Plan June 17 STEAM Family Night
With the last day of school just 11 days away, Peabody Public Schools is spotlighting a family STEAM event and opening kindergarten registration for next fall, while Peabody Patch reports the city is working to return more than $320,000 in unclaimed funds to residents before a July 31 deadline.
SCHOOLS
Families with children entering kindergarten in September 2026 can register now for the 2026-2027 school year. The district has posted registration details and answers to common questions on its website at peabody.k12.ma.us.
On June 17, the district will host STEAM into Summer Family Night at Higgins Middle School for pre-kindergarten through grade 5 families — a blend of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities as the year winds down. The district calendar also shows a Grade 6 Preview Night at Higgins on June 15, a regular School Committee meeting June 23, and the final day of school June 25.
