Boxford Library Launches Hoopla Digital Access for All Cardholders

The Boxford Town Library has expanded its digital offerings with access to Hoopla Digital, giving cardholders free on-demand streaming of books, audiobooks, comics, and more, while Town Hall is pointing residents to the posted fiscal year 2027 proposed budget and capital plan ahead of the next round of public deliberations.

TOWN HALL

The town's fiscal year 2027 proposed budget and capital plan are now posted and available for resident review on the town website. No vote date was attached to the posting, but the material is up for public inspection ahead of scheduled board activity later this month.

The town homepage is also carrying a reminder about the North Shore Regional 911 transition — a consolidation affecting dispatch services — with a standing page for residents who want background on the changeover. Registration for the Boxford Park Program opened May 27 and remains open; families can sign up through the town's online portal.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Boxford Town Library cardholders now have access to Hoopla Digital, a streaming platform that lets patrons borrow digital books, audiobooks, comics, movies, and music at no cost through their existing library card. The library's website at boxfordlibrary.org has the signup link. The library also continues to support the Libby app for e-books and audiobooks and the MVLC Mobile App for digital account management; staff are available by phone at 978-887-7323 to help with any of the digital tools.

Mark your calendar: a Concert on the Lawn at the Holyoke-French House is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m.
