Lynn Launches Summer Reading Program as Rabies Clinic Approaches Friday
The Lynn Public Library's summer reading program is underway and a city-sponsored rabies clinic is days away, making for a busy start to summer in Lynn.

Residents with pets should mark their calendars: a free rabies clinic is scheduled for Friday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The city's community calendar lists the event, though additional location details were not included in available materials — residents should check lynnma.gov or contact Animal Control directly for specifics.
The city's community calendar also continues to list the Youth Summer Employment Program among ongoing city initiatives for the season.

The Lynn Public Library's "Plant a Seed, Read" summer reading program is now active, with separate tracks available for children, teens, and adults. The library is operating on modified summer hours through July 2: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed on weekends.
Coming up at the library: Messy Mornings with the LPL, a hands-on children's program, kicks off Tuesday, July 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. and will repeat most Tuesdays through early August. Teen Tech Space launches Wednesday, July 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. and also runs on a weekly schedule through the summer.
