Boxford Library Launches Kanopy Streaming as Summer Reading Opens

The Boxford Town Library is adding free streaming to its digital lineup just as summer reading season kicks off, giving cardholders new ways to read, watch, and learn through the warmer months.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Residents with a Boxford Town Library card can now stream films, documentaries, and educational videos through Kanopy, a free streaming platform available through public libraries nationwide. The access is immediate — no waitlists and no late fees — and joins Hoopla Digital and the Libby reading app as part of the library's growing suite of digital resources.

At the same time, the library has launched its annual Summer Reading program, open to all ages. Adults are encouraged to participate alongside children and teens. Registration details are available at the library's website. The library is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 7A Spofford Road.

COMING UP

The Finance Committee meets Tuesday, June 30. A Concert on the Lawn at The Holyoke-French House is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m.
