National Grid will be conducting gas main work along sections of Central Street and Lincoln Avenue, according to a town News Flash posted Friday morning. Residents and drivers on those corridors should expect construction activity in the area; the town advises checking the full advisory for specific block locations and timing details.

The Saugus Public Library is rolling into summer with several active programs and a newly announced concert series. The library's website highlights the 2026 Summer Reading programs for children — themed around Pokémon — as well as Teen Summer Reading and an Adult Summer Reading program. The library is closed this Saturday, June 27.

Separately, the library announced a summer outdoor concert series tied to the historic Saugus Iron Works. According to a post dated June 18, free concerts will return to the Iron Works site this season; a full lineup has been announced on the library's blog.
