Lynn Public Library Opens "Plant a Seed, Read" Summer Reading for All Ages

DATELINE — LYNN

The Lynn Public Library's "Plant a Seed, Read" summer reading program is underway for all ages, offering residents a community-wide literacy initiative to carry through the summer months even as the library shifts to modified seasonal hours.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The library kicked off its 2026 summer reading program — themed "Plant a Seed, Read" — with separate tracks for children, teens, and adults. Enrollment links for all three age groups are available on the library's website at lynnpubliclibrary.org.

Residents should note that the library is operating on modified summer hours through July 2: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The building is closed Saturdays and Sundays. The library will also be closed Friday, July 3, ahead of the Independence Day holiday.

Looking ahead on the library calendar, Messy Mornings with the LPL runs Wednesday, July 1, from 10 to 11 a.m., and the Teen Tech Space program returns Wednesday, July 2, from 3 to 5 p.m.
