Methuen Schools Enter Final Week With JROTC Camp, Early Releases Ahead

With no new town hall announcements and no breaking coverage from commercial outlets, Methuen heads into the final stretch of the school year with a handful of district calendar dates on the near horizon.

Methuen High School's JROTC Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge runs Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, at Devens, MA, keeping a contingent of MHS cadets offsite for the week.

All Methuen Public Schools buildings will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

The school year wraps with an early-release day on Monday, June 22 — the 180th instructional day — followed by a second early release on Tuesday, June 23, the 185th instructional day. The School Committee holds its workshop and end-of-year meeting the evening of June 22, beginning at 6 p.m. in the MHS Media Center.
