PEABODY -- Peabody youth sports had notable activity to report this week, headlined by championship news and upcoming Little League action.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Peabody Little League wrapped its 2026 regular season with two championship crowns: the Angels claimed the AAA title and the White Sox took home the Majors championship, with the White Sox also earning the 2026 city championship title. The league also congratulated its departing 12-year-olds and recognized the Peabody 12U All Stars for winning the District 16 banner. Looking ahead, league play resumes June 25 when the Royals visit the Phillies at James Street Park at 5:30 p.m. A full slate of games follows June 27 and 28 at Welch School O'Connor Field and James Street Park.
