Methuen Election Department Opens Recruitment for 2026 Poll Workers
The city is looking for residents to help staff the polls for two major 2026 elections, even as town hall's news flash produced no new announcements on Tuesday and the school district posted no district updates overnight.
TOWN HALL
The Methuen Election Department is recruiting poll workers for the September 1 and November 3, 2026 elections. Interested residents can call 978-983-8515 to apply. The department describes the volunteer role as a way to support a fair voting process and play a direct part in community civic life.
Looking just ahead on the public-meetings calendar: the Public Health Partnership Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, and the Zoning Board of Appeals regular meeting set for the same evening has been cancelled. The Historic District Commission meets Thursday, June 25.
